Closure of YEP Hoian 07

TO LEAD IS TO SERVE

Had my offical closure of YEP Hoian 2007 today at Inno Sparks. That's where we started and where we end. Started as strangers and ended as a big family in that room. Part of our memories were kept there. This is one of my BEST YEP ever had. Really do not bare to end it so fast. I will rather continue to spend time on plannings and organising but not to end this YEP. Although there's alot of hardship put in but it's really worth the effort. As their SL, the most satisfied thing to see is that all of them are able to stay united and come in as a big family. They learnt to forgive and forget all the unhappiness among themselves. I also learnt alot from them too... They respect me as their SL and vice versa I respect them too. They gave me a chance to be their nai ma for 2 wks. A video was screened on the happenings during our 14 days at Hoian. And it didnt meant to make anyone cry, let everyone laugh at their own ugly pics. We had our thank you session and was quite a personal one. Kenny and I were there to read out what they want to say. I was quite surprised to see so many of them thank the both SLs. As I read their posts, I was really controlling myself not to tear. Everyone was given a grp photo in a frame with individual names as soveniors. And all of us went for steamboat at marina... A family dinner. Some of them told me how they wish that they can continue to have our weekly team bonding sessions. Without them, this YEP wont be such a seccessful one. For the first time, I enjoyed so much being a SL of the 24 of them.

Kenny and I gave our token of appreciation to LF. A collage of her photos. That's where the 3 of us were uncontrollable that we really teared. Everything is kept within midac. I hugged her and cried. As what I said, let our confused relationship continuesss... Really want to thank her for all her care and concern. She did more than what she supposed to do. I really learnt ALOT from her and always encouraged by her. She's more than a frend to me, a person who I respect. Thxs for the mug of gingseng drink today, to keep mi awake!

She also gave Kenny and I each a towel. To Lead Is To Serve. When serving, towel is required to wipe our sweat away. haha...

Thanks Kenny for everything!!! Effort, Leadership, Time spent together, Photo Collage, Care and Concern. Really touched by receiving the 2 gifts. Time will tell everything. What I wish to say, I had already said.

Tired... Had my np regatta training today before gg to my YEP gathering. Was really fun at the poolside with my classmates. As usual, I'm splashed by the guys. The actual race is just nxt week. ECE dragon warriors. =)

really dun bare to end this YEP... =( but it will always stay in my heart. a wonderful and fantastic group! good things will always come to an end but it will be kept as memories. They had added colours to my life. I LOVE MY HOIANSTERS!!! you guys rox!! CHEERS!!!! We make a DIFFERENCE. SAME SAME BUT DIFFERENT!!!!

SH angel promised to SMILE more, get disciplined and FOCUS. my last lap and academic is the most impt afterall. I will remember that......
